Is the intent of the piece working.
Pieces should need both visual and audio to work, don’t think of them as separate

Hicks- Linear- good space that was created
Josh- non-linear, interesting effect and sounds
    Yeaton- weird suicide
Sam- really good use of light- good syncopation
    Jade- not synced
Zach- Need 3 move more with the noise
Matt- really matches with sound- particle generator, non linear
    Aaron- 2 much red
    Jeff- moments of brilliance
Jeremy- beginning matches well, end not so much
MINE- Visually it sucked, not enough figure ground, less colors in room with dials, ppl need to do wave all together and be synced with sound, concept was good
    Doherty- sound is off
Ethan- need syncapation really good visually
    Rob- Weird – creepy, awesome
John- good job, good use of color, funny

  3. Videos were better than he expected. A lot of them missed the opportunity to really match the sounds.

We can all revise over break.

For the most part, people did a good job representing their pieces visually. However, a few (mine especially) had places where the visual didn't match up with the audio which jarred the viewer and their perception of your piece.

Have till after break to revise pieces

Next project will be literally putting ourselves in the piece
