    -Just play around with it, and then You'll produce something really cool.

    after effects is for effects

  3. Experiment with using different colors and feather them out in order to get the best keying done on your piece.

    Do the best of the best, you get an iPad

    Do not use final cut for effects.

    After Effects is for effects, Final Cut is for putting stuff together...barely :)

  5. Be sure to feather! It helps with the hard edges.
    Never use Final Cut for effects. It's not designed for it.
    After Effects has a mind of its own so sometimes you will do the same effect in a different order and receive different results.

  6. color key > tolerance

    multiple layers of keys for multiple colors > more than one key
    adjust brightness/contrast , hue/saturation

    garbage mask > will mask stuff out you dont need
    edge feather > soften up

    backdrop 1 to 1 1/2 fstop below your subject

    play w/ effects more than just key

    one best project > really cool prize

    2d objects in 3d world
